Review content:
I can't tell you how totally excited I was when this place opened because Flint really needed a 24 hr. restaurant that wasn't a scary dive. I have seen a lot of college kids in there late at night with their laptops because they are a wi-fi hotspot which is pretty cool. It's aesthetically very slick with all the chrome and retro booths, but what really shines here is the food. I'm a big soup lover and their cook is churning out some fantastic homemade concoctions such as the chicken and spinach, German tomato, lemon rice chicken, chicken noodle and ham and bean soups. They are flavorful and made fresh daily. The selection changes from day to day and they are always great! The rest of the fare is typical diner food but all very tasty. Awesome Detroit style chili dogs, sauerkraut dogs, burgers, gyros and omelettes. They serve malts and milkshakes that are thick and delicious made with real ice cream, not soft-serve and it's hard to choose which flavor because they make one for each kind of ice cream they have. The waitresses are really friendly and since we go in there a lot, they always remember us. I love it and hope this is a sign of a new trend for Flint becoming more urbanized and eclectic.
Pros: open 24 hrs., great food, awesome soups, drive-thru
Cons: I wish they had chicken soups daily!
