I lived in mariwood for 5 years 2001-2006. while i lived there the manager switched 3-4 times. all the managers never cared a bout the tenants unless they were the favorites to them. the maint. man would watch things that went on and turn a blind eye. the maint man would come on my lot and steal our rakes, garbage cans, tools, lawn mowers and even toys and when you would confront him he would threaten to throw you out of the park. We watched him steal things as did our neighbors. when he would steall our garbage cans we used regular trash bags that we had to keep in side due to dogs tearing into them and making a mess and then the maint. guy would come over and yell and scream at us like we were dogs for there being a mess from the animals but every time we would buy garbage cans he would take them and we felt we were sorted out and they were trying to find a reason to evict us. my children were out of the city visiting relatives for 2 weeks and the day they got back here came the manager yelling and screaming at us saying my children had started a fight 3 days ago and that another tenant saw them.. i told the manager that was impossible but she insisted i shut up or get evicted she then ordered my children and even me to stay confined to our lot and she would even make a curfew for my children claiming that if my children weren't on there own lot by a certain time she would evict us. i went on vacation out of state and while i was on vacation my home was burnt to the ground. kinda weird huh? the nmanager had gave me a paer to sign before i went on vacation and told me i had no choice but to sign it or move .. the letter stated my lot rent was going up to 1,000.00 a month.. i never signed the paper. if you aren't there favorite then you are automatically there enemy. stay to yourself does no good as that is what we did and it seemed they hated us for not bothering any one. i was really wondering when other people would see how mariwood actually was. no-one should have to put up with the way the park is ran.
