I called for furnace repair, but the technician said he was too busy to come out. That's bad enough, but the company billed me for a service call, anyway. I called them right away, and the person in the office said she'd remove the charge. A month later, they sent me another bill, along with a nasty letter threatening to turn me over to a collection agency. I called again, and the man said he'd be SURE to remove the charge, and he even faxed me a letter verfiying that I owed nothing. But .... one week later, they turned me over to a collection agency! All for a service call that I NEVER received.
