The service I recently received from Premier Air Conditioning in Garland, TX, may be the worst service I have ever received from a service/repair company of any type. The owner, Ron, came to my house 6 or 7 times to address a single problem. Due to shoddy work and/or incompetence, he repeatedly had to return to work on my A/C unit. As a result, I had to miss all or part of 5 days of work to be at my house waiting on or dealing with Premier Air Conditioning. More than once, they didn?t show up when scheduled and didn?t call until prompted by the home warranty company to reschedule. They made no effort to expedite the scheduling of return visits, even though this was in the middle of a heat wave (daily temps of 105+) and they knew my A/C unit was not functioning at all. Ron clearly cared only about doing the bare minimum and leaving as soon as possible. Several days after he finally ?finished? the job, I went up to the attic and discovered that Ron hadn?t properly sealed off the HVAC unit, which was blowing cold air into the attic. Astonishingly, when he finally came back to once again fix his shoddy work, he was openly rude. Not a word of apology or regret for the repeated inconvenience to me and the weeks without a working A/C unit. In fact, he didn?t even greet me at the door or say goodbye when he left. Had he not been such a jerk, I probably wouldn?t have taken the time to share my bad experience in this and other forums. It?s not in my nature to be critical of others and I?m far too busy with more important things to make time to post a review of a repairman?s work. But the service I received from Ron and Premier Air Conditioning was so over the top bad that I feel obligated to at least let others who may consider hiring them know of my experience. It boggles my mind that people like this can stay in business. After Ron?s last visit to my house, the warranty company ended up sending a different HVAC repair company to fix Ron?s poor work. That other company, Montgomery HVAC Service Company from Wylie, TX, was light years better than Premier. I can also highly recommend A/C Works in McKinney, TX. The owner, David Crawley, is the best and most honest repairman I have ever dealt with. I would have used him to do this repair in the first place but the warranty company wouldn?t let me choose the repairman. In hindsight, I wish I had not gone through the warranty company and paid the money out of pocket to hire David Crawley. Then I would have had the comfort of knowing the job was done right the first time for a fair price.
