Review content:
I took my one year old there because she'd had a head injury and was throwing up. Instead of seeing her in triage immediately, the staff in the front made us wait almost two hours. Finally, in the midst her violent throwing up, I called a doctor on call at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles where my daughter goes for her well visits. The hospital is too far for emergencies, unfortunately, but he made a call to the doctor inside who agreed to see her immediately. Triage was very careless once we entered the room, and the triage nurse seemed not to know what he was doing. Once inside, we were treated a bit better, but the investigation of her situation was not very speedy or thorough. In the end, I packed her up and drove the extra hour to the hospital in Los Angeles. I thought Pomona Valley was bad, but this place was horrific. It was also very dirty with very tiny waiting rooms for everyone in Emergency. A shameful situation. I would never, ever take my daughter there again. Do NOT go there for emergencies if at all possible. Orange County has a children's hospital where you might be able to go. It's farther but not like this horrible place.
