Occasionally the service at Adelphi is merely good but more often thant not it's perfect. The owner must make a concerted effort to inculcate his staff of mostly 20-something servers with what it means to give friendly, efficient service. As soon as you sit down you're brought a carafe of water with a lemon slice in it. The staff almost always gets my order exactly right. And it's fast too. I haven't tried a lot of different dishes because I love their turkey club sandwiches. And the always make them as instructed: Well browned rye toast and well browned fries. I also like their gyros. The portions are oversized, like most diners these days and the prices are moderate considering portion size, service and location. Pros: Great Service, Large Portions, Plenty of Parking Cons: None.
