Review content:
Two weeks ago I hired a local landscaping company to re-do my yard. They did a fabulous job; moss rock beds, grass, mulch, plants/flowers, etc.
I went to John Deere Landscape with my landscaping company to walk thru and pick out all the flowers, plants, trees, etc. Not knowing a lot about different types of plants, I needed his advice.
We bought several different plants and flowers; totaling $1307.23.
We brought them home, and his crew built the beds and planted everything. All of the plants and flowers look beautiful, with the exception of a certain shrub. There are 14 of these same shrubs. They are planted in the same 2 beds as everything else. But all 14 have died.
I met my landscaper at John Deere this morning to see if they could exchange them. We took pictures. We explained everything had been newly and correctly done (irrigation, water, sprinlers, etc), and that nothing else has died in the same beds. Not even the various delicate type flowers. For all 14 of these certain shrubs to be the only thing dead, there must be a problem with them. They refused to exchange them or do anything about it. I feel that they should stand behind their product when clearly it is not anything we did. For all 14 to die so quickly; while everything else is growing beautifully. The lady behind the counter, Heather, was very rude. Very short with her words, and moving her head and shoulders around very rudely. She kept repeating ""well we dont know what you do with them when you leave here"". I understand that point...but we clearly had a landscaping company (who purchases from them often) there with us handling the work. They not only do not stand behind their product; they have horrible customer service and uncalled for rudeness.
