Cuvaison is one of the hidden gems of the Napa Valley wine scene. A producer of phenomenal Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it is worth the drive off the beaten path of Highway 29 to the Silverado Trail. Visit their tiny and friendly tasting room for a sample of their latest release, as well as some library releases. The staff is knowledgable and ready to offer suggestions for restaurants or spas in the area. Also, bring a picnic lunch and dine on their shady lawn.
