I had 2 recalls on my Pathfinder & took it back to where I purchased the vehicle. As soon as I drove the car in the garage with a full tank, the technician checked my fluids & had a chart on hand showed the service associate & me the power steering fluid was not the right color. That should have warned me they were going to nickel & dime me, but I said ok change the power steering fluid, then I mentioned that there is a rumbling noise & can you please check that as well. It took a week to get my car back and during that duration they offered me a rental car but made it clear I have another form of transportation. I picked the car up noticed a 1/2 of a tank & a bill of $1,577.99. 2 days later my Pathfinder is surging down the road. I left work to drop this off & had an appointment that I needed to get to & asked for a rental. Was told ""well that is $35.00 a day plus fuel"". Not very customer service like, so 1 day later now I am told my shocks went bad! But looking through my bill it states they did a full multi-point system check with an alignment or so they billed me for. I said ok, repair the shocks I can not drive it in this condition. Went, dropped rental off was told it is under the full line in car & paid $4.00 for 1 gallon, was driven in rental to dealership received bill for $269.80. Drove down business RT1 with a terrible noise, pulled into the nearest parking lot looking for the cause, low & behold they never tightened the bolts for the shocks! Went back to company, was told the technicians went home for the day & they needed to work on it tomorrow, but we have a rental care for you free of charge. So when they say free of charge your are charged a portion of the rental & gas. I used a gallon of gas in each rental, driving from company, to residence, back to Peruzzi, but picking up my car it's ok if they use your fuel. Never got compensated for any of the problems, talked to a ""manager"" and only told sorry. Called today 2-27-2012 and asked for owner, president or vice president only to be hung up on. Word of mouth gets business but also takes it away. So unsatisfied with this company & told them if I ever get a recall again I will take it another dealership in the Tri-State area.
