Review content:
I haven't been up at the barn in over 5 years since I stopped working there because the one horse I gave extra care for left. (I was an insecure girl, and that horse was my best friend.) But anyways, my boyfriend took me up there yesterday to go riding and I saw a few familiar faces. (Lauren and Cindy!) I asked for a beginner horse and they gave me Nevada. Who loved to scratch his head on my stomach and shoulder lol. When I got on him I was very nervous because it's been so long being on a horse. But a few deep breathes and a bit of confidence fixed it in a matter of minutes before hitting the trails. The first 15 minutes on the trails I was a bit uptight, but talking to my horse made everything better. By a half an hour on the trails I ended up getting Nevada to a trot because that's all he wanted to do anyways haha. He was very easy to handle and a fun ride to boost up my confidence from being away from horses for so many years. It was nice to get back in the saddle, and the people that work there really care for the well being of the following riders they are taking out.
Some people probably leave bad reviews because they didn't clarify what discipline they were good at.(Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) rider or the right horse was not available at the time. But I guarantee they try there best. Because I worked there too.
