Review content:
This place is fabulous and it's local! Anyone who enjoys wine and learning about wine, should stop by. Executive Chef Earl Johnson is an encyclopedia on wine. I had a dinner party recently and wasn't sure what wine to serve...from first course through dessert. Typically, I'd use 'my' best judgment. Clearly, ""Earls"" best judgment is one to go with. I stopped by yesterday during Super Bowl; had a glass of wine and found out what would be best to serve with another party I'm having next week. Korkage is tucked away in Hillsdale, right off Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. Stop by next time you're on the hunt for good wine. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've also attended the last two Wine Tasting events that they offer on Thursday evenings. Great wines to taste and met more neighbors. It's under new ownership and is open everyday except Monday and Tuesday.
Pros: local, knowledgeable, welcoming
