I have been going to Van Davis since last October for my highlights but this latest visit will be my LAST! I made my appointment with the same hair stylist I always visit, asked for the same color combo I always get (which I gave them all the detailed info from another Aveda salon in Atlanta) and still she screwed it up! I looked like Marilyn Monroe...my hair was white, not blonde & looked like it was a one color all over bleach job NOT highlights. I didn't notice when I was at the salon because the lighting in there is horrible..it's like a bat cave. When I got to my car I first noticed it. It continued to lighten up as the night progressed, until I washed it again. I called that night to speak to a manager but they were gone & was told one would call me the next morning. I waited until 10:30 & called & was told that all managers were off site in training!!! I continued to call until I could get an appointment that day. When I got to the salon was the first time a manager would speak to me. I believe I met with the owner of the salong & since she doesn't do color (???!!!!) she couldn't tell me what my hair stylist had done wrong. They ""corrected"" it as well as they could but now my hair is blonde on top & brownish on the ends. Since I had to have back to back color needless to say my hair is breaking & is very unhealthy. I would not recommend this salon to anyone based on the lack of experience & managment response to a problem. Customer service is VERY important & I think the way this situation was handles was very poor.
