Review content:
I am very disappointed in this Pharmacy since the change to CVS. Whenever my prescriptions went to zero refills they wait too long to request additional refills and always send the fax to the wrong office. My physician works at a practice that has 3 locations in Ventura. She only works at one of the locations, but CVS always sends the refill request to one of the other offices. I have talked to CVS Pharmacy employees, but they say there is nothing they can do. (Why???) The fax goes to the wrong office, then wastes time getting routed to the proper office. A simple refill that should take 2-3 days instead takes 2-3 weeks. Last month one of my refills had expired, so I tried to be proactive and requested that they send in a refill request at that time. I figured that a month early should get my prescription filled on time. Wrong again. CVS did not have my prescription ready on time. I called their automated system to check the status and a week later it was still not filled. It?s now been 10 days since it should have been filled, so I called and waited to talk to a Pharmacy Tech. The woman that answers the phone informs me that the prescription has not been refilled and they have not even sent in a fax to my Doctor to request a refill. I cannot believe this level of incompetence when it comes to something as important as personal medication. I informed her that I requested the refill over a month ago to be sure it was filled on time. It was clear she really didn?t care. She was flippant and arrogant. I?ve had problems with refills over and over again. I try to give people a chance, and this pharmacy is very convenient for me, but it is time to take my business elsewhere. If you want decent customer service (or your prescription refills on time), then please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This CVS Pharmacy is incompetent and uncaring.
