Our son?s wedding ceremony and reception were at the Abernethy Center in September, 2009, and it was a lovely evening from beginning to end. Already in the planning stages the staff was always ready and willing to help coordinate, answer any questions that we had and were very accommodating with our special requests. The ceremony was in the Veiled Garden, which is stunning ? beautiful and private. The reception was in the Ballroom which was the perfect venue to celebrate with the newlyweds. The Ballroom itself is beautiful, and after adding our own touches ? centerpieces, candles and flowers ? it was magical. The catering was better than we ever imagined. The buffet was excellent and beautifully displayed. We had many comments on the delicious dinner. We also had many comments on what a ?fun? reception it was. The DJ, Eric, was awesome. He kept the reception flowing so smoothly and involved our guests throughout the evening which they really enjoyed. Our son and his beautiful bride had a very special evening that was extraordinary in every way. We all have treasured memories of their wedding celebration and the start of their new life together.
