Review content:
I have been going to Franco's since it was Hairstylists USA, and even though I no longer live in Delaware I still drive up there for special occasions and hair emergencies. I had them do my hair for my wedding and Gina saved my head from the horrible things a barber had done to it in high school. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They all train with any new products they get in and share that training with you. Not only will they do your hair right, but they make a point of showing you how to do it too. Everyone there is very friendly and Franco makes it seem like you are visiting friends more than a business. For a long time it was only 3 employees and then I believe they began expanding by hiring students to answer the phones, and eventually young stylists as well. With young people there will always be turn over, but the two veteran stylists (Franco and Gina) have been there since the beginning. As for the decor, currently it is a Tuscan vibe which I find very relaxing. You feel like you are at a salon in Europe or if you have never been to Europe think The Continent in its prime. Someone on here previously referred to it as trashy, but they were mistaken. The pieces of plaster missing from the walls to expose sections of brick underneath is a style many pay a great deal of money to duplicate. As someone currently studying architecture and interior design I can tell that exposed brick is a pro not a con. Pros: Excellent staff and great selection of product!
