Review content:
This was my second excursion to Fogo, and my how things have changed. Let me start by saying that the food is still delicious and if you are a fan of steak, you will be in heaven. The wine list is varied and the cellar well stocked. What I don?t understand about this place is how it manages to attract such a blue collar crowd? I don?t mean to sound crass, but because of the long wait, the hostesses now hand out pagers (the kind you would see at TGIF and lesser establishments). The crowd now consists of young greasy haired, chain wearing types and their companions in stilettos and shorts. Although the place is quite pricey, perhaps they need to raise their prices to attract a finer crowd. While I think their steak is best in the city, I don?t think I?ll be back until the ambiance improves. Pros: Fun for a group, extensive wine list, amazing steak Cons: Low brow patrons
