I have been a long-time customer of Dove. Unfortunately, I haven't been a regular customer of their's for the last 2 years, during which time I lived in NYC - I couldn't find a better salon in the city (regardless of how much I was willing to pay for services)! Whenever I could, I took a train to CT just to come to this salon! Now that I'll be moving back to CT, I am excited to be able to return to Dove for my mani/pedi! Everytime I enter the salon, I am greeted by the manicurists and owner - most of them know me by name. They immediately pull my box with my tools and sit me down at a station. On weekends, it may be pretty common to wait a few minutes, but the turnaround in this salon is incredible! Dove always has the most up-to-date nail colors, to follow the color trends. They've recently introduced OPI Axxium, which is my new favorite thing - the nail lacquer is gel-based so no chip or luster-fade for about 2 weeks! The only thing I try to avoid are weekends and rush hours, as I don't like to feel rushed while I'm getting my nails and toenails done. But this is a personal preference. If you're worried about time, they are very detail-oriented, but quick! They can get you out of the salon in no time (if you had to)! I've recommended this salon to many of my friends/family...and will continue to do so.
