Elena Southcott did hair and makeup for my 4/22/11 wedding and was fabulous! She came to our hotel room and brought all her equipment, set up fast, and was ready to go. Her pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable, especially since she will come to you. We all looked elegant and gorgeous without seeming overly made-up.
She did hairstyles on 3 girls (with long hair!) and 4 sets of makeup all in 2.5 hours. She doesn't need 90 minutes per person to make you look beautiful, and she knows that there are many other things a bride and her attendants need to be doing on the wedding day other than sitting in the makeup chair!
I felt completely glamorous and the hair and makeup lasted all day. She gave us all extra lip color for touch-ups throughout the day, but other than that I didn't even have to think about how my hair and makeup looked--they stayed in place and looked fabulous!
Elena made me feel totally at ease and I felt very mellow the entire morning as we were getting ready. She responded quickly to all of of my emails and was incredibly friendly, cheerful, and professional to deal with throughout the entire planning process. She is one of the first vendors I booked and is definitely someone I would recommend to any other in Key West area bride looking for a hair and makeup artist.
