Review content:
This is the WORST Hilton I've ever stayed at. Save your sanity-- stay at the Staten Island Hotel. At least there's some life around it. The Garden Inn is completely isolated from civilisation. Staff are incapable of taking care of the most ordinary of tasks. They gave me the wrong departure time on the ferry, so I missed my train home! They don't know anything about public transit on the island. The manager was supposed to call me and never did. The workout room is attached to the pool, so you breathe chlorine fumes while you're trying to be healthy. You're forced to eat pricey mediocre food because there's nowhere else within 10 miles! I spent 10 hellish days there for work and I'm still recovering.
Pros: housekeeping staff
Cons: incompetant staff, location, workout room
