Review content:
Freshly remodeled (read: CLEAN!), Elevation is an intimate workout loft with a friendly atmosphere and all the latest in exercise and physical therapy equipment. New owners, husband & wife John & Deb really care about health and wellness and helping you achieve your goals and stay motivated.
The focus is on Functional Fitness training, which so far as I can tell is just a fancy name for cross-training to make sure the body stays in balance, -- to reduce the risk of injury from sports or even daily life. (But if you?ve already injured yourself, ?Dr. John? happens to be a chiropractor and they also offer physical rehabilitation programs and massage.)
There's Pilates, Boot Camp, Personal Training and what they call ?Semi-Private? Training which, again, is really just a fancy way of saying you get a discount when you?re willing to share your session. (Keyword: ?willing? ? if you?re lucky, the other people don?t always turn up!) I?m really happy with my trainer, Micah. I?ve only been going a couple of months and I?m seeing results already. But all the trainers are warm and professional. It?s overused but I can?t think of a better word, everyone is just so doggone NICE!
Pros: State-of-the-art training, great people + FREE parking!
Cons: Not for you if you're looking for a ""meet"" market.
