I always thought that LNRMC was a good quality place with a good reputation. I guess that was an assumption based on the area in general usually being more on the ""upper end"". I felt that working there would be great. I have healthcare experience going back to the early 1990's, with healthcare certifications to boot. So, I applied for a job with this place. I got an interview with the Central Billing Office's Assistant CBO Manager, DENNIS MONDZAK. I sat and talked with this guy for an hour, this was after driving about 40 min. to get there. He was super interested in all I had to say, explaining how my great experience and background would lay a great foundation to working for him as a Pre Arrival Coordinator. He told me the hours were 9-5:30. I explained to him that I have two children needing to be picked up each day by 6pm, and with the long commute until we could relocate, I would not be able to leave any later than 5pm. He told me to my face when I asked could I do an 8-5 schedule instead that that could definitely be workable and he would get back to me within two days. He felt like this could work, and he just had to run it by his HR dept. I sent him a thank you note as one should after an interview, being very polite about him taking his time to speak with me. I told him I was looking forward to working together and hearing about the schedule. Two days came and went. I sent him two polite emails to follow up, he would not answer. I called him on the third day and got voicemail of course, and he would not return my message I left on his voicemail. He just totally dropped me when I asked to come in earlier and leave at 5pm. Even if he found out that it couldn't be done, a professional and decent person would have written an email explaining that or returned a phone call. I drive an 80 min. round trip drive that day ,spent an hour with him, all while a bit sick with a cold, just to try to get this job. To this day, I never got a call, letter, or email. I was just simply dismissed. I hear too by these reviews that the care there sucks afterall. And for employees, I see it's no better. So, if you want to be a patient there, or God forbid work for them, rethink that decision!!! I think it happened for the best for me, this place in an unprofessional joke!
