Review content:
What a lovely evening we spent at this wonderful , wonderful restaurant. We were in town visiting friends, who (thank God!) suggested that we try Harvest for dinner. They are big fans and we certainly understand why......we live on the west coast, where we enjoy a multitude of great and innovative restaurants, but they have nothing on this one!! The staff was most accommodating, without ""hovering"", very ""wine savvy"" and suggested a perfect sauvignon blanc to begin our dinner.......We were pleased to meet the owner, Steve, who was an absolute delight....familiar with our environs and we loved chatting with him! I enjoyed the Vegetable Lasagna from the Spa Menu, while my friend raved about the Lamb (I did have a bit.....cooked perfectly and just oh-so-yummy!) The Corn Bisque shouldn't be missed and the Beet Salad is terrific! We took our time (as we are wont to do) and ""dined"".....never feeling rushed or hurried in any way. My friend had to order the Bread Pudding.....sinfully delicious...........cappucinos and coffee and we felt as though we surely had experienced St. Louis' Best Restaurant...........lucky folks, you!!
