Dr. Burns is a VERY good doctor. Usually appointments can be made within the day of or a day after. You walk into the office and can tell immediatley that he has his hands full with patients so you expect it's going to be an in/out 2 minute one-on-one but everytime I go in- he takes a seat, listens to you, and actually has a normal conversation about whatever your physical complaint(s) is while examining you. There is absolutely no rush in his work and he will stay with you until you're satisfied. VERY PERSONAL. No ""awkward doctor moments."" He will discuss strategies and in certain examples different kinds of medication that may be appropriate and then expect you to feedback on what you think/questions about the meds. Very professional and I wouldn't go to anyone else. He has personally helped me cope with some pretty painfull TMJ disorder problems and RE-filling medicine after the doctors approval can be done within the day if not a few hours later that day. As an example, after seeing him this year he gave me a script that I used up here, later on I went back to school at Embry-Riddle in Florida where the TMJ acted up again during finals week but I ran out of prescriptions . Without any hesitation and a brief conversation with me..he personally called a Walgreens in Daytona to see if it was possible to transfer it state-to-state. How many doctors do you know would go that far out of their way.???/ This guy is the man. He goes to work to help YOU. Pros: Professional, caring, experienced and personal
