Just when you thought that yoga studios were becoming the new Starbucks. This wonderful yoga center is the real thing. One of the two incredibly nice owners is herself a devoted experienced yogi and a qualified popular yoga teacher - and this is rare in the dime-a-dozen world of yoga studios in LA. Everything about this place serves the greater purpose of promoting joy and compassion, and best of all in a very lighthearted and often witty way. I may be biased as I am myself a yoga teacher, but I think I'm qualified to speak here: the instuctors at Liberation Yoga were hand picked from the likes of The Iyengar Yoga Institute of LA and Center for Yoga and are all excellent instructors.
