I wish my experience was as wonderful as everyone else. My boyfriend surprised me with their Groupon which was $250 for $500. I was hopefully when I first walked in. The place was beautiful though they didn't have that large of a selection. I decided to cut to the chase since I knew exactly what I had wanted. When my boyfriend was originally looking at the Groupon they showed some pieces you could get with the Groupon. He saw a beautiful ruby ring for $500. Never did it say that items were limited and first come first serve. So when I explained that I had a Groupon she immediately rolled her eyes and looked at her co-worker then said that they only had one piece and it sold last weekend. Then said they might be able to recreate it, but it would cost more! Never anywhere on the Groupon page where it displayed some ideas of items they sold for that price range did they say they were limited. So I was upset and felt very uncomfortable our entire visit, because the whole time they kept showing me rings that were$1,800 and up or some gaudy horrible jewelry that was cheaper. When we got home we tried look at their site since it showed a lot more than the store did. I did end up finding some nice pieces including another beautiful ruby ring I was never shown and it showed they were in stock, but when my boyfriend called they claimed it was out of stock. He also received a call from them a couple days later saying they found a similar ring for $2,000. That place was a joke. That night we wrote to Groupon and they apologized and refunded our money immediately. We then took our $250 and bought a beautiful piece from Helzberg Jewelry where we were not treated poorly just because didn't want to spend a couple thousand. I think I'll stick with Alberts Jewelers and Helzberg where they understand how to treat all customers wonderfully!!!
