I ate one of the tastiest meals in recent memory here! The tapes theme makes it fun to taste lots of different dishes and share them with the whole party so everyone can taste more. Everything here is really premium. The salumi and cheeses are wonderful. Best orders, I would say, are the bacon-wrapped dates, arroz negro (wonderful hot plate of squid over rice in its own jet-black squid ink, it's nice and garlicky and saffron-y), the salt-cod stew (which I had been against ordering) was a solid 10, the smoked fish with beets plate was great, and so were the lamb chops. Go all out and order 1 of everything that looks good and a bottle of wine if you don't mind spending $100 per person. If you want to have fun a little more frugally, skip the wine, skip the cheese course, and just order the yummy small plates. the pecan tart and rocky road desserts were heavenly as well, if you don't mind rolling yourself home. Get a booth off the main room if you can. It's less noisy in there so you can hear conversation, and the lighting is nice. Service was great, and the server was helpful. Nothing to complain about at all here. Pros: Wonderful small plates, some of the best food around. Cons: Expensive, but worth it.
