Review content:
I had many problems with Namaste Solar and their installation of my PV system. Customer service - zero on a scale of 0-10. Five times I requested help on an issue with the PV system. They always said they would get right back to me and never did. Engineering: crappy! They installed two rows of solar panels - and the shadow from the front one shades the back one. The system is essentially shut down from November to mid-February. The system does work although the overall output is 10-15% less than what they quoted. Technically challenged- they were unable to provide accurate information on technical specifications- in particular temperature degradation of the solar panels. They said there would be 5% less power produced when it was hot compared to when it was cool. In actuality the system can produce 3300W when it is cool, but only 2200W when it is hot outside- a 33% temperature degradation of the panels. Their installers were somewhere between downright rude and vicious. Now they do not even sell the solar panels (Sunpower), but only ""lease"" them to the buyer. Good thing- the panels stayed on my roof during this winter's windstorms. Buyer beware!
