Review content:
My husband & I are fairly health conscious people, so we were excited to try out the low cal food concept. I was not impressed at all. I had hallibut over sweet corn rissoto. The fish was dry and overcooked, but the rissoto was very nice. The red pepper sauce was more like watery tomato sauce, and then there was some spinach around the side. The whole dish was screaming for seasoning - I can't remember the last time I salted my food at a restaurant. My husband had the tamarind glazed turkey skewer, which had a lot more flavor and came with a nice pearl pasta and a side of chutney. This was a better way to go and was a unique and tasty dish. We both had salads - the house was bland, though had roasted pumpkin seeds for an interesting change. I greatly enjoyed my spinach salad, with a very nice blue cheese. The wine selection was extensive, especially by the glass options. Then came the little dessert tray. They show you all the options and you can take what you like. We were pleased overall with the desserts, but I wouldn't say any one stood out. All like little parfaits really. I think there are a lot nicer places to spend $70 on dinner, and since we're health conscious at home, I'd rather have flavor when I go out. Service was VERY slow and not impressive either. Definately make a reservation.
Pros: Good salads, nice wine selection
Cons: No flavor, overcooked, slow service
