I heard about Backfins from a great friend who wouldn't stop talking about how amazing the crabcakes were. I finally decided to go and find out for myself if this place was as good as they told me. Well, I walked in the door and right away felt like I was back on the coast! The laid back environment, extremely friendly waitstaff, and the owners (who are from Maryland) coming by to say hello, really welcomed us and made us feel like we were home. And the crabcakes?... Wow!!! I've never had better! We have been back to Backfin's at least once a week ever since and tried out various menu items and have never been dissapointed! This little Wake Forest treasure is a blessing to all searching for a taste of the coast in the triangle!
