I dropped my laptop off to Tech Shield on a Wednesday. I described the problem I was having to Daniel. He said, worst case scenario, I just needed a new CPU fan. According to him, it would not be expensive and he would call me the following day with specific information. Thursday came and went with no word from him. At the end of the work day on Friday, I contacted Tech Shield asking if they knew anything. I was told somebody would call me back. That never happened. I gave them another day -- again no phone call. Finally I went in there and Daniel said I did, indeed, need a new CPU Fan. He would order one and contact me. Three more days passed and still not one phone call. NEVER did Tech Shield as much as once ever call me!!! I was livid, and, quite frankly, disgusted. Finally, I took the damn laptop else where. The new repair man opened up the computer, saw the CPU fan needed a little bending, and gave it back to me. Problem fixed in 10 minutes for $20.00!!!!! The repair technicians at Tech Shield are a complete joke. I will never under any circumstance go back there again.
