Review content:
My wife had a tough day, so I rewarded her with dinner at our favorite-Frascati. For apetizers she ordered Gnochi which I absolutely hate-I tried it and still will not order Gnochi, but the sauce was fabulous and with the great Frascati bread, it was fun to sop up the sauce. I had the trout salad which is better than most salads but not as good as their marinated octopus salad which is worth a special trip if they have it. Main courses were great. I had the scallops which were just perfect and she had the duck which is always great. She could not finish it and we asked them to box it up. Somehow, they screwed up and tossed it, but they were really cool about it and cooked a fresh entire order to go while I had a single scoop of Prickley Pear Ice Cream. (while eating the ice cream I recounted an old story involving prickley pear and an old girl friend which made me lose all the bonus points I had gotten by taking my wife out to dinner) At the end of dinner (and the end of a lovely bottle of wine) we agreed that we had had a good night together-she is now calling me to bed, so end of review.
