I am from Chicago, I know Italian. This place is underated, the food is absolutely incredible, excellent wine list, and Raffo the owner greets you and can make many recommendations to suit your taste. By far, one of the best restaurants in San Diego, but unknown. Great, safe neighborhood, easy to park. It's not necessarily ""Chicago"" Italian as you know it, however, it is as good or bettter because you don't feel uncomfortable afterwards. By the way, the flourless Choclate cake is incredible, even if you normally don't like flourless chooclate (like me).
Pros: BEST FOOD EVER, YOU FEEL WELCOME.
