Businiess name:  Simons Cafe

Review content:
I have been a regular customer for the last 3 years and have come to know Chef Simon quite well. Simon is a true class act; a soft spoken, gentleman with over 30 years of experience ranging from being a chef on a cruise ship to owning the first morroccan restaurant in Japan. Simons Cafe always has the freshest salads in town that are never over dressed, including a caesar salad with homemade hazelnut croutons. The beauty of Simon's is in the details, from the handmade plates, teapots, and tagines to his wonderful mint iced tea. Simon's homemade soups are unbelievable. Ranging from simple favorites like chicken soup and minestrone to such exotic combinations like cauliflower and hazlenut, and potato and apple, it is hard for me to pick a favorite. Another favorite of mine is Simons Cappellinni Genevese made with his own homegrown basil. This is not on the menu but if you ask nicely he will sure whip some up for you. Simons often offers daily specials with seasonal and hard to find ingredients. It is also worth mentioning that after every meal, Simon brings out a fresh prepared desert ranging from homemade cookies with hazelnuts and pecans, to baklava and his fresh riccotta cheesecake that is simply to die for. In this day of fast food and corporate chains, Simons Cafe is the antithesis to bland, mass produced, over priced, stand in line for two hours for a piece of lousy cheescake kind of establishments. Do yourself a favor and make this a regular stop for the best food in the valley. Pros: Food prepared by a real chef Cons: None!
