Review content:
I bought a defective Gen 4 Glock 17C from this guy. I took it out to the range right after buying it, and about half the time it failed to load and/or the slide failed to kick back and eject the last bullet.
I spoke with the guy who owns this shop, and he seemed convinced its because I'm not holding the gun firmly. I've since shot a Gen 2 Glock 17, and had no issues, even limp-gripping it.
I spoke with Glock Tech Support, and they said he's wrong, and that it needs to be sent back to Glock for warranty repairs.
So, now I'm out 2 to 4 weeks and $70 for shipping my brand new gun back to Glock because Dublin Knives & Guns refuses to stand behind what they sold me. BEWARE.
UPDATE: The owners noticed this review, and the lady who called me seemed to be trying to handle it professionally, then the guy got on the phone, got irate, reiterated that it's not their fault, and ranted at me, saying stuff like ""you probably don't even know how to USE a gun"", and ""you probably shouldn't even OWN a gun"", letting not a word in edgewise, instead of trying to see what they could do to help remedy the situation.
Definitely not buying from these guys ever again.
