Review content:
I am new to sushi, and I have to admit, for years I was intrigued by the idea, but also very apprehensive because of my American-centric culinary upbringing. I will say though, after my first visit to Mikuni's in Elk Grove, I have been craving sushi on a daily basis, and now have it at least once a week. At Mikuni's, you will find all sorts of fusion style rolls, that have a lot of ingredients, and can really be intimidating for a first time sushi eater. I would recommend keeping it simple: a green salad with wasabi ranch (freaking heavenly), some edamame, and then try a California or a spicy tuna roll.
Pros: Excellent service, great food, good for newbies
Cons: Not as much authentic sushi as I would like to see, but still excellent.
