I was completely happy with the service I received until I went to cancel my membership. I was told you cannot just quit the gym, but have to provide a letter once you have moved. Your own word isn't enough that you need to provide proof you are moving. I have belonged to seven different gyms in my lifetime and this is the only one that would not let me quit the gym. I talked with three employees about this, one being a manager. It was clear they would not budge. Had I known this prior to joing WOW, I would have gladly paid more to go to Planet Fitness based on principle alone.
