Ela's classes are terrific. I've read over 30 books on writing--which includes such heavy weights as Strunk and White's Elements of Style, Stephen King's On Writing, and William Zinzer's On Writing Well--and I still got so much out of her classes. In fact, I felt I learned more in her two day screenwriting class than I did reading all of my books, combined. If you're looking for a writing coach in NYC (whether film, theater, or fiction/non-fiction), check out her classes. You won't be disappointed.
