After filling out an online-form and making a few calls regarding my dead car (cost to repair exceeded the value of an 11yr old vehicle which I had been wanting to sell anyway), Junk A Car got back to me within a day. I had some offers in hand from other companies, so I knew what ball-park to expect for a total-car offer.
When Junk-A-Car low-balled my car's value, and I told them what other companies had offered to me, they not only matched the other company's bid to buy my car, they raised it.
Dealing with their representatives to collect my car was always courteous: they called back when it was promised, and my check was Fed-Exed to me within 2 days. I am very pleased with the expediency of getting my dead car out of the way so that I could focus on obtaining a newer vehicle.
