Review content:
As a long-time visitor to Beeville, and a loyal customer of John Elder and his sons, I have to say that they have created some of our family's favorite food traditions. Firstly, their sliced, smoked hams have been a holiday favorite for over thirty years. The beef jerky they make is the best we've ever had and we try it all over the country. From the deer blind to the football stadium it's our healthy snack of choice. And, lastly, their fresh smoked sausage is a family breakfast tradition....an unusual blend of spices that we've never gotten anywhere else... always a treat at ranch breakfasts. Their BBQ is excellent and can be eaten there or taken to go. Also, their fresh meat counter is still an old-fashioned service counter and they cut fantastic steaks!
