Review content:
I drive on highway 71 frequently now and noticed this place with it's towering electric sign and small wooden building on the side of the road. After driving past it exactly 13 times on different occassions, I finally stopped to get some of the peaches the banner on the front boasted about. It was like it was calling out to me and I felt like I was snubbing a kind person -- it's that kind of down-home country place. The peaches were delicious. They also have a cute shop with lots of things, including pecan trees, salsas and other jarred items, and pecan pie, which I think I will go back for, or at least order online (google it). There is a big field with cows just behind it, which I enjoyed gazing out at from the parking lot. If you're going out east from Austin, you must stop at Berdoll. Pros: quaint, tasty, scenic Cons: a long drive if you live in austin...
