The atmosphere is simple, but the food is transcendent! We have been fans for the past 5 years, also when it was located at Bethany in Allen. My husband had the ""Ranchero Fajita"" plate for his birthday: the steak was hot off the grill, and very tender; the shrimp skewer with green peppers and onions was char grilled to perfection. The rice and beans have an authentic flavor, that cannot be described, it must be experienced. Everything was so much better than the chain store Mexican restaurants around here. I had their famous ?hand pulled? Chicken Chimichanga, which bursts with fantastic flavor! I asked them to please smother it with real melted cheddar cheese (not the cheese sauce) and add a side of lettuce and tomatoes, they did so at no extra charge! They also send us free birthday coupons! The Head Chef, Oscar always comes around and says hello with genuine friendliness. He only stayed at our table as long as we wanted to talk with him. We've eaten at more expensive restaurants, but La Finca Chiquita simply has the BEST MEXICAN!!! The service is always great, they are so attentive and we ALWAYS leave in an actual state of ecstasy. This food is so good, it will make your head spin. They make fresh chips, and ours were brought out HOT from the fryer. Here, you get THREE kinds of homemade salsa, and all of them are to die for. You've got to experience this food, trust me, I know Mexican and I've tried a lot of places over the past 40 years in Texas and all over the U.S.A.
