Review content:
It's not often you get to work directly with the owner-operator of a company, but that's what you get with Blue Horizon. John Aune was involved from beginning to end of the process, and answered every question promptly at every stage. We wanted to take advantage of a Bryn Mawr neighborhood solar rebate, and Blue Horizon came in with the lowest bid for the same equipment and service that the other companies were offering for over $3k+ more. John let us know what to expect with timing, costs and rebates so we could financially plan for our investment. A couple weeks after he visited to scout the installation site (our garage roof) and talk through our options, the equipment arrived and he and his crew installed a state-of-the-art system with microinverters and online monitoring system. They also upgraded our home's main electrical panel, and Xcel replaced the original meter with a two-way meter. The installation was smooth, and John even stopped by a month after it was completed to make sure everything was working perfectly. Now I can go online to see all the power we're generating ? and enjoy our lower electricity bills (our last one was $4, YMMV).
