Review content:
Another one of my favorite haunts in Alpharetta. Every friend I've taken there has liked it a lot! I always get the Monte Cristo -- two slices of French toast with ham and melted swiss cheese in between. A light dusting of powdered sugar tops the sandwich. You get a choice of home fries or fresh fruit (I recommend the fruit) and a choice of mini scone (always my choice), croissant, or other bread item. I've tried the Italian wedding soup on a couple of visits, and it was delicious. The Canadian sausage pie was also good. My friends have enjoyed the quiche Lorraine, the ham-egg-cheese croissant, and the chicken salad with cranberries. The walls are decorated with artwork for sale, and the tables have small, interesting containers holding fresh flowers. The owner is almost always there, and we've had some nice conversations when it hasn't been too busy. During the week, it's best to arrive by 11:30, or you might not find a place to sit.
Pros: tasty food, friendliness, can handle private parties with advance notice
Cons: smallish parking lot, watery soft drinks
