My old Rolex watch was a symbol of an era when I had a lot of disposable income. It had been sitting in a drawer for at least ten years and I knew that I was never going to wear it again. I brought it to Gold Coast Jewelry and Pawn Shop to have it appraised and maybe sell it. I knew they did Rolex repair so I guessed they would buy it. I was told it was a 1980 Datajust and was offered 1750.00 for it. I was told it needed a good cleaning and would bring around 3000.00 retail once it was restored. I thought the offer was fair. They paid me cash and as I left and started walking to my car my smile kept getting bigger as I planned on what to do with my newly found cash.
