Ok, I have no really strong need to shop at home depot but we just moved to the area and decided to browse the store while doing an errand. My partner and I were treated very nastily by a customer service counter person. He was dismissive and obviously irritated by us because after I returned something I also had a few questions and I commented that I did not think he was addressing us since he was not looking at us and that just set him off. So, I was not happy to have to come in again but this store carried the item I needed right away..sigh...and then I was so dismayed to see ""guess who"" up at the counter still looking just as miserable (why?) and figured we would have to wander the aisles...Well, lucky for us a very smiley woman saved me. I think she saw my dismay and marched up, took me by the arm right to the blinds we needed, quickly picked out the size, made sure we knew how to install them (guess we look helpless) and then chaperoned us to the tool aisle to find a drill bit. We were out the door in 25 minutes! I was dreading shopping but she made my day. Hope that was not a fluke - I may go back again.
