Review content:
I am a graduate of the makeup artist class at Lu Ross Academy. My teacher was Holly Hughes and I was one of approximately 20 students in the class. The class consisted of lessons in theory, practical application, presentation and discussion. The students in my class had varied levels of experience, were different in age and were from all walks of life. While the teacher had to speak to these different levels of capabilities, I found the class to be instructive, insightful and empowering. Since having graduated, I have a well established business that in large part is thanks what I learned in my class and the networking opportunities that were initiated with my teacher. In looking back on the considerations that I made to attend the makeup class or not at Lu Ross, in retrospect I feel as though I made the right decision. Additionally, I have recommended the class to some of my friends who are also considering starting a career in the makeup/beauty industry.
