This is a red brick trail that spans throughout Boston that passes by 16 historic sites significant to the American Revolution. A great teaching tool for kids and a fun way to see and experience history in Boston. You can get maps and walk the trail on your own or, of the Freedom foundation offer tours in costumed characters and take you along the trail with tales or persons and events of significance. They also offer a wealth of information on readings and activities to do in preparation for your tour. great for a school field trip and a wonderful way to make history fun and see beautiful historic Boston.
