Review content:
This place is consistently awesome. It is not the ritziest place in the world, but that's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. My family I have been going for years. I've tried all the restaurants in little italy and this one has no competition. You see the same staff there year after year. That's proof they are good fair people and their product is awesome. See the line out the door on the weekend. The prices are mild, between $8 - $15 an entree. The gnocchi is unbelievable, Rachel Ray said the eggplant parmesan is better than most in Rome. Check out some of their recipes in her cookbook; as she did a show live from Trattoria. I would recommend this place to anyone. However, if you go during the feast, don't expect the same food. They have a totally different skeleton menu. I guess you have to when 30,000 people visit in one weekend. Pros: always provide parking, great food Cons: can be busy, make a reservation
