Review content:
My son was visiting from Florida and offered to take me to dinner. I suggested Eckl's because I had heard great things and had a couple of good meals there myself. I ordered the broiled Orange Roughy - it was smothered in butter and cooked to the point the bottom was crunchy and difficult to cut. The coleslaw was warm. My son didn't eat his steak because it was flavorless - he described it as like tofu. He also had mashed potatoes with gravy that he couldn't eat because of the salt. He said the salad was good. Foolish me - I had expected a salad with a $16.99 meal, but I guess a small piece of overcooked fish, a baked sweet potato and some warm coleslaw should have been enough!
