I shopped several camera stores trying to learn what I wanted and needed for an entry level digital SLR. I was most impressed with the staff at Creve Coeur Camera. They asked what I was going to use the camera and pinpointed my hot-buttons. I went in several times and each time, they actually encouraged me to leave the store with only information to research more about, never once pressuring me to buy something. And they were the only ones who understood that I didn't know all the techie talk about cameras, and they were able to ""dumb it down for me"". I ended up buying a Pentax KR and absolutely love the camera. It is perfect for my wants and needs and does a great job taking pictures of my kids.
